Jet-Protect 19gsm Dye-Sub Tissue Paper
Overview
Protection Between Your Fabric and Press Belt
Jet-Protect 19gsm Dye-Sub Tissue Paper is a one-time use protective layer between your polyester fabric (or transfer paper) and the felt belt/pad on a rotary calendar or flatbed press. Excess ink and gases that would otherwise reach the belt land on the tissue instead, which protects and extends belt life. At 19gsm it is light enough to run continuously and durable enough to manage heavy ink loads.
Key Features
- 19gsm tissue paper — durable enough to withstand heavy ink loads
- Protects the belt/felt pad — prolongs working life
- Prevents discolouring and yellowing of printed fabric during transfer
- Compatible with popular rotary presses — Monti Antonio, Practix, AIT, Kleiverik, Transmatic and Metalnox
Applications
Continuous rotary calender production of cut-and-sew apparel, soft signage, flags, banners and table covers — any dye-sublimation workflow where the transfer paper runs against a felt belt and belt condition affects output quality.
