Waveform control improves droplet placement accuracy dramatically over the previous generation, and Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology optimizes firing order to suppress banding. The SS21 eco-solvent set goes well beyond CMYK. Light Cyan, Light Magenta, and Light Black smooth gradations and give real depth to monochrome and grayscale work. Orange widens the gamut for accurate reproduction of solid Pantone colors and food imagery — the shades conventional four-color output tends to miss. White and Silver open up metallic effects and printing on clear or dark media. BS4 remains available as a four-color option, and both qualify the machine for 3M MCS coverage.
