Mimaki TS330-1600 64" Dye-Sublimation Printer
Overview
High-Volume Textile Production at 1,453 sq ft/hr
The Mimaki TS330-1600 is a 64" dye-sublimation transfer printer built for shops where output volume drives the business. Part of Mimaki's flagship 330 Series, it reaches 1,453 sq ft/hr — roughly 130% the throughput of the model it replaces — without trading away image quality.
Ink sets scale with the work: a straightforward 4-color setup, or 6, 7, and 8-color configurations that add light inks for smoother gradations and fluorescent pink and yellow for colors conventional sublimation can't reach. Combined with Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology and a rebuilt media transport, the TS330-1600 is engineered to run consistently, shift after shift.
Key Features
- Speeds to 1,453 sq ft/hr – Six print modes let you tune the balance between throughput and quality
- 4, 6, 7, or 8-color ink sets – Blue, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, with Light Blue, Light Magenta, Light Black, Fluorescent Pink, and Fluorescent Yellow available
- Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology (MWDT) – Varies ink drop placement order to deliver more consistent solid fills and reduce downtime
- Sb411 and Sb410 fluorescent inks – ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX certified, with proven rub fastness and color intensity
- Dynamic Adjustment System (DAS) – Corrects dot position and media feed automatically during the run, with no operator intervention
- MAPS4 pass control – Softens the boundaries between swaths to suppress banding and uneven density
- Nozzle Check Unit and Recovery System – Detects blocked nozzles and substitutes healthy ones so long runs finish unattended
- Dual-motor take-up – Even, stable winding of transfer paper across the full 64" width
- Mimaki Remote Access (MRA) – Operate the panel and check status from a phone or PC on the same network
- RasterLink7 included – With TxLink4 textile RIP available for advanced color management
Expanded Color for Textile Work
The value of the 6, 7, and 8-color sets is reach. Light Blue, Light Magenta, and Light Black smooth gradations and skin tones for fashion and photographic textile work. Fluorescent Pink and Fluorescent Yellow extend into the high-visibility range that standard four-color sublimation simply cannot hit — the difference between matching a sportswear brand's colors and approximating them. All inks carry ECO PASSPORT certification, which matters for apparel that ends up against skin.
Built for Continuous Running
- Rebuilt media transport – Media edge guides, a post heater, and dual-engine take-up keep paper tracking straight through long runs
- V-shape cut function – Single-point taping of transfer paper to the take-up core, so roll changes take seconds
- Cloth wiper – Clears stray droplets from the printhead to protect image quality
- Optional 10 kg bulk ink tanks – Replace 2-liter packs for overnight and unattended operation at lower cost per liter
- Optional Mini Jumbo Roll support – Longer transfer paper rolls mean fewer changeovers and less operator burden
Applications
Ideal for sports jerseys, leggings, and swimwear, fashion and cut-and-sew apparel, soft signage and flags, curtains, cushions, blankets, and fabric wall art, plus sublimation onto rigid polyester-coated surfaces including metal, wood, and ceramics.
Why Choose the Mimaki TS330-1600?
The TS330-1600 is Mimaki's flagship 64" sublimation platform: production throughput, an eight-color ceiling with fluorescents, and automation — DAS, MAPS4, nozzle check and recovery — that keeps quality steady without an operator watching. For textile and apparel shops scaling past what an entry-level sublimation printer can absorb, it's the natural next machine.
